Camp Grandparent Program
Yes, camp is for you too!
Camp Grandparents share their time, energy, talents and passion with our youngest campers at LOMC each summer! “Grandparents” are able to connect with campers when sometimes all that is needed is a listening ear and a caring heart to help them adjust to new surroundings. Grandparents are nurturing, observant, creative, flexible, and forgiving. They have a sense of humor and are able to “go with the flow” when daily plans change.
Come join us as a Camp Grandparent!
Select a week that fits your schedule and come enjoy this truly rewarding experience. During the day, Grandparents read to campers for an hour and hiking, swimming, crafting and playing games with the campers is optional. When not with campers, enjoy the 640 acres of LOMC whether fishing in Paul’s Pond, hiking trails and simply enjoying hotel-quality lodging at Freedom Tree Village. Our Camp Grandparent program is coordinated by our own “Grandma Linda” – Linda Patterson does a wonderful job helping our Grandparents get involved with our campers at LOMC.
