Day Camp

Day camp is the perfect week of fun for campers not ready to sleep away from home. Each week has activities specific to that week's theme. Sign up for just one week or any number of weeks this summer. Day camp includes: lunch, swimming, grandparent time and morning devotions every week. Campers are dropped off between 8am-9am and picked up between 4pm-5pm.

Classic Camp

Classic LOMC is the perfect choice for campers who want to experience all that camp has to offer. Every LOMC activity will be packed into this week of fun. This includes: swimming, canoeing, hiking, camping out, archery, arts and crafts, gaga ball, human foosball, zip-lining and teambuilding. Get back to LOMC's roots and experience classic camp!

Experiencing Camp

IS your kiddo ready to experience camp but a whole week is too long? Experiencing Camp is for our 3rd-5th grade campers who want to see what LOMC has to offer but only stay a half-week. Campers will do many activities including teambuilding, arts and crafts, hiking, canoeing, swimming and play large group games. This is a great camp for returners and first-time campers alike.

Exploring Camp

Explore LOMC during a half-week of camp designed for beginning campers. The week includes fun LOMC activities such as campfires, swimming, arts and crafts, large group games and playground time. Campers get a chance to rest at grandparent time and go to bed right after snack to help ensure they will have plenty of energy for all the fun at LOMC.

Family Camp

LOMC isn't just for kids - it's for the whole family! Whether you are 2 years old or 92, LOMC has fun activities for everyone! Bring the whole family for a half-week (Sunday-Wednesday) of fun and relaxation. Swimming, arts and crafts, hiking, canoeing, archery, games, team-building and more is led by our staff to give your family a few days of fun together!

Hammock City! -FULL

Hammock City is full. Spend the week off the ground praisin' Jesus all while hanging in a hammock! Our new Hammock City will be the focal point of the week where campers will sleep, rest, relax and talk about how we can be the salt and the light of God's creation. Make sure to bring your favorite hammock and straps or let us know and you can borrow one of our new hammocks. When you aren't nesting, you will enjoy all the great activities that camp has to offer. Space is limited to 10 campers.

Hogwarts Illinois

Hogwarts Illinois has returned to LOMC for another summer under the leadership of Headmistress Heinrich. All activities are based around the popular series of Harry Potter books. Campers are divided into houses and spend the week earning house points. The week culminates with the Quadwizard tournament, which has campers using their brains as well as their wands!

LEAD

LEAD (Leadership Exploration and Development) is for those campers who want to gain valuable leadership skills at camp. This week-long camp will give campers the opportunity to dive into what it means to be a servant leader - just like Jesus! When you aren't canoeing, playing gaga ball or hiking around the prairie, we will prep you in leadership workshops that will help you become a leader in your church, your school and your community as well as participate in an off-site service project.

LOMC's Got Talent

Take your shot at fame and join us for LOMC's Got Talent. In this week of camp you will showcase your talent in a variety of ways. You will have the opportunity to perfect your talent so that you will be able to shine bright on the big stage at the end of the week. Bring your instruments, your vocal chords, artistic talents, comedic attitudes or magical tricks for this theatrical week of camp.

Mountain Goats

Rock climbing! Campers interested in rock climbing will have a blast during this week of camp. The adventure begins with climbers completing LOMC's low ropes teambuilding course and moving up and offsite to a high ropes course and then actual rock climbing at Devil's Lake State Park in Wisconsin. Climbers spend 2 days with a professional guide in the park and return on Friday to share stories of their climbing accomplishments.

Night Owls

This camp is for night owls who dislike getting up in the morning. Each night bedtime is pushed back to allow campers to adjust to a late-night schedule. Night games, hikes, swims and cook outs are just a few of the fun activities campers will experience during this week. Campers sleep-in each day and stay up later each night. Sleep all day and party all night!

Theka

Theka is a counselor-in-training, two-week camp where participants learn what it means to support each other, lead other campers and build up the community of LOMC. Thekans spend the first week learning skills needed to be a capable camp counselor which includes: focused Lutheran theology, leading Bible studies, songs and camp activities. During the second week, Thekans are placed with program camps and work alongside LOMC staff to lead campers through their experience. Live out your dream and experience what it is like to be a counselor.

Wet n' Wild

Time to dip your feet into the water of LOMC! Enjoy activities like swimming, canoeing, water kickball and water balloon fights all during this half-week and camp. While taking a break from the splishing and splashing, campers will be able to enjoy hiking, teambuilding games and yummy food all in the midst of learning about God.
