5K BENEFIT & Autumn Fest
5K BENEFIT – Saturday, Oct. 14-10:00am
Join in helping LOMC as we bring people outdoors in faith! Runners/walkers/cyclists needed and sponsors to back them up! Participate at LOMC or near your home.
If you participate in Autumn Fest’s Donut Fun 5K at LOMC you’ll run/walk/hike a course AND enjoy donuts along the way. With donuts created right here at LOMC, you’ll enjoy some extra fun with some sweet treats!
Run/Walk/Hike
We are looking for people to take the lead and participate in this 5K (3.1 miles). Everyone who runs/walks/hikes is asked to find sponsors who will donate to LOMC. Run, walk, hike, bike, skate, roll – your choice.
About Us
Lutheran Outdoor Ministries Center in Oregon, IL is over 600 acres of prairie, hills, a pond, forest and more. A unique and special place for groups to gather.

Each runner/walker/cyclist needs sponsors – so join their team! You choose the amount to donate in honor of your runner/walker/cyclist. Use the button above to donate online or send a check (with your team leader’s name in the memo) to the address at the bottom of this web page.
Your Location or Ours
Run or walk in your hometown or come to LOMC on October 14 (Donut 5K at Autumn Fest starts at 10am). Your choice, and on your schedule. If you come to LOMC on October 14 you can enjoy everything LOMC’s Autumn Fest has to offer.

All three ELCA synods in Illinois support the ministry of LOMC. We are pleased to work with so many congregations within these Illinois synods:

To Register To Run/Walk/Etc.
To register to run, walk, cycle, etc., fill out the form below to start the registration process. Each team leader will make a $30 donation to LOMC and agree to find sponsors.
Can our church or group participate at home?
Yes! Any church, scout troop or other organization can pick your own date and time to run/walk/hike to benefit LOMC. Your group can set a date or ask your members/participants to participate within a certain timeframe. Ideally we would love to have all group’s doing the 5K to complete it around the October 14 event date.
To help you promote, please you the logo to the right for worship, social media and print use.
Do I have to get a team of people to run/walk?
No. A team can be just one person who then finds sponsors. A team can also be a family, a group of friends, LOMC staff alumni, board members, a church, etc. However if you want to just sign yourself up and recruit sponsors we welcome you to create an individual team for LOMC.
