Campers will enjoy tons of fun experiences in the dark. As we approach the end of the week, we shift back to more daylight fun. A truly unique opportunity to see faith and creation at night!
Join us at Night Owls!
Entering 9th through 12th grades.
One Week Leadership Camp – Redesigned for 2022!
For our non-leadership high school camp, please consider our “Pack” camp for high school campers.
THEKA challenges high school students to stretch and go deeper in faith, prayer, leadership and study.
Vocation (Noun):
A strong feeling of suitability for a particular career or occupation. Vocation also refers to a person’s occupation that is specifically regarded as worthy and requiring dedication.
Our identity comes from Christ and we are all called to a specific vocation in our life. Our job is to discern what God is calling us to do and how we will serve our neighbors.
During THEKA we will focus on:
Discernment: the act of figuring out, learning, noticing, and listening to what God may be calling us to do in our lives.
The Fruits of the Spirit: “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. We will uncover ways that we can build these virtues in ourselves and use them in leadership roles and everyday life.
Leadership: We will put our leadership skills into action for a day as we co-lead activities for some of our younger campers.
**THEKA is now a one-week program to better accommodate schedules. For high school students looking for a less intensive experience, consider attending the new High School Pack Camp for a more “classic” summer camp experience.
Churches can bring their group to LOMC to participate together in all the LOMC has to offer!
Bring your elementary, middle or high school group to LOMC for a week of joy!

Due to COVID and the financial issues that LOMC faced, the pool and zip line have not been used since summer/fall 2019.
For summer 2022, we hope to open the pool but suspend use of the zip line.
Our intentions at this time are to operate LOMC’s inground pool for the summer 2022 season.
Budget, staffing and other realities can affect our ability to open the pool and operate it safely however.
After careful review of what it would take to operate the zip line, the board and staff have decided that the zip line will not be running in summer 2022. With new equipment needed, complete retraining of staff and regular certification expenses, we have decided the pool is a more efficient and better option for this summer given our limited financial resources both this summer and into the future.
We apologize for any disappointment and look forward to an exciting summer at LOMC with so many great things to see and experience!
Update: We have trained lifeguards and the pool has been filled with water and is being readied for summer!
