Contributions directly support scholarships for future campers and church groups.

The connections formed here will carry forward into your church’s youth ministry, strengthening community and faith engagement throughout the year.

- Swimsuit and towel for the pool
- Bible, journal, and pen

We ask that all campers leave their phones at home to fully immerse themselves in the camp experience. Camp is a unique opportunity to step away from screens, build friendships, and connect with God’s creation without distractions.
Church leaders attending camp may bring their phones, but we encourage them to keep devices in their rooms or out of sight during the day to model full participation for campers. If a camper needs to contact home in an emergency, arrangements can be made through their church leader or LOMC staff.
Thank you for helping us create a space where campers can be fully present!
Yes! We require at least one adult leader (pastor, youth director, or congregational mentor) to attend with your group. This leader plays an important role in guiding your church’s 2-hour daily confirmation time while also supporting and connecting with campers throughout the week.
To ensure a meaningful and restful experience for leaders, all adults stay in suite-style lodging in Freedom Tree Village. Campers stay separately in Retreat Cabins with bathrooms, bunks, and air conditioning.

Each day includes Bible study, worship, and time for church groups to bond. Our goal is for campers to grow in faith, confidence, and community—immersed in God’s creation!
Safety is our top priority. Our summer staff receive extensive training each year, including First Aid and CPR/AED certification, and we follow the rigorous American Camp Association (ACA) standards. We maintain safe camper-to-counselor ratios and implement clear protocols to ensure every camper is cared for in a safe and supportive environment.
LOMC’s dining services accommodate most dietary needs, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and common allergies. Please provide detailed dietary information during registration, and feel free to reach out with any specific concerns.
All medications (prescription and over-the-counter) must be turned in at check-in and will be administered by our trained staff. LOMC has a health coordinator on-site, and staff are trained in first aid and emergency response. Please include any medical needs on your camper’s health form.
Confirmation Camp is designed for youth in grades 6-10, but we recognize that some churches may have a wider age range in their confirmation program. If your group includes campers outside this range, please contact us to discuss options.

- Plan a pizza party or other group bonding activity
If your church has a special tradition or activity in mind, let us know—we’re happy to help make it happen!
For urgent matters, parents or church leaders can contact the LOMC office at 815-732-2220. Church leaders attending camp will also have access to their phones and can communicate with families if needed.
