Clyde Walter
Executive Director
Clyde (he/him) is a seasoned nonprofit and ministry organization leader, having spent over 15 years working with several faith-based and human service organizations in areas of strategic leadership, program management, fundraising, and marketing/outreach. Newer to the LOMC Family, Clyde is honored to lead such a vital ministry at this pivotal time. He loves spending time in nature, cooking, and singing. Clyde splits his time between Des Plaines (home), LOMC, and meeting with LOMC friends across Illinois. Clyde is married to Pr. Kyle Severson, who serves as Lead Pastor at St. Luke Lutheran in Park Ridge, IL.

Callie and her husband Taylor are expecting their first child in September 2026 and look forward to raising their child in the loving community of LOMC.
Audrey Adams

Audrey will go out of her way to make sure you get the reservation and program you need. Her goal is to make your retreat an outstanding experience from start to end. She is the go-to person when you call into our LOMC office the majority of the time. Besides managing our registrations, Audrey is our office guru and bookkeeper. She is married to David and they have two LOMC camper alumni: Courtney and Jay.
Nyssa Serrano
Director of Food and Hospitality
Nyssa has been working at LOMC in multiple capacities over the last 22 years. She was recently promoted to Director of Food and Hospitality. Nyssa resides onsite with her beloved dogs Rosie and Poppie. In her free time, Nyssa enjoys thrifting, K-pop, and Power Rangers.
Nicole Judkins
Administrative Coordinator
Nicole has been bringing groups of youth to LOMC for many years. She served on the Board of Directors for four and a half years and resigned only to step into this role. Her time on the Board provided her with the background and knowledge needed to jump right in to providing executive administrative support and serving as a liaison to the Board, all committees, and the wider LOMC network.
Beth Nelson Chase
Development Advisor
Beth Nelson Chase is delighted to serve LOMC in furthering philanthropic and development strategies and outreach along with the whole team. Beth recently retired from over 40 years in human services and development venues with primarily faith based organizations here in the US and globally. She and her husband, John are members of St. James Lutheran, Forreston, and reside in the country, northwest of Mt. Morris, where they also tend grapes and are hobbyist vintners at Cedar Creek Vines.
Rob Foelske
Director of Property and Facilities
Rob has an extensive history with LOMC as either a camper, volunteer, or staff member for 14 summers. Rob’s education earned him a bachelor’s degree from Aurora University. In his role at LOMC, he uses his talents as a skilled carpenter as well as experience in farming, land management, and lawn care. Rob met his wife, Lorraine, on summer staff in 2015. They have two dogs and enjoy hunting and running together.
Kurt Wolter
Maintenance Assistant
Kurt Wolter is originally from Normal, Illinois and he moved to Rochelle in the mid ’90s. He taught at Rochelle high School full-time for 31 years and continues to teach there part-time now. He has 3 adult children. He began volunteering at LOMC when his sweetheart and friend, Michelle Wandersee, invited him. Later, Rob G offered him a part time job assisting Ken and Chris. After building Kurt’s bridge, Kurt realized he enjoyed working here more than he expected, and when Rob F arrived Kurt wanted to stay on. He still very much enjoys working in the outdoors and improving LOMC under Rob F’s and the staff’s guidance. Kurt thinks LOMC is a very unique and special place where people can take time for God and nature. He thinks it’s a pleasure to work here!
