When you visit you’ll meet our year-round staff, summer staff, food service staff or other seasonal staff. Our goal is to work together to help you have the best experience possible at LOMC. We look forward to getting to know you as we partner together for your next adventure.

Rob Gieraltowski
Executive Director
Rob has been a LOMC camper and counselor, LOMC Board member, volunteer (and more) in his long-lasting relationship with LOMC. He looks forward to helping the organization to strive towards its mission and core values helping everyone to experience God in the outdoor setting. Rob enjoys hiking, movies and roaming the vast acres of LOMC taking a photo or more along the way and he recently completed the University of Illinois Extension’s Master Naturalist program.

Audrey Adams
Retreat Business Manager
Audrey will go out of her way to make sure you get the reservation and program you need. Her goal is to make your retreat an outstanding experience from start to end. She is the go-to person when you call into our LOMC office the majority of the time. Besides managing our registrations, Audrey is our office guru and bookkeeper. She is married to David and they have two LOMC camper alumni: Courtney and Jay.

Michelle Wandersee
Program Director
Heading up summer camp to helping your group start right and have a great time with activities, Michelle is here to lead programming. She is a graduate of Carthage College with a degree in business administration. She is also certified as a youth and family Director through the Center for Youth Ministries of Wartburg Theological Seminary. Michelle previously served as the Youth and Family Coordinator at Faith Lutheran Church in Rochelle for 10 years. Michelle recently completed the Northern Illinois Synod’s diakonia program which is a two-year process of spiritual formation.

Ken Dilbeck
Property Manager
Ken has faithfully served 20+ years at LOMC! He lends his many talents to the upkeep and repair of LOMC’s over 600 acres. Ken and his wife Melissa together have seven kids. Ken keeps the water running, the buildings warm, the vehicles safe, the Ts crossed, the widgets fixed, and the landscape welcoming for all.

LOMC is currently in search of a team-oriented person to work part-time in maintaining, cleaning and helping prepare for guest arrivals.

Nyssa Serrano
Food Service and Hospitality Manager
Nyssa ensures your experience is wonderful whether the meals you enjoy or the bed (or bunk) you sleep in. With many years of experience at LOMC, Nyssa works hard to keep things clean and tidy and meals fresh and delicious!
