Lent Youth Retreat
Overnight retreat for middle and high schoolers
March 7-8
RETREAT DETAILS
Arrive Friday @ 6pm
Depart Saturday @ 4pm
What to bring:
- Winter clothes (we’ll be outside!)
- Winter jacket, hat, gloves
- Pillow and sleeping bag
- Shower towel & washcloth
- Toiletry and shower items
- Water bottle
- Flashlight or headlamp
- Warm, comfortable shoes for walking and hiking
- No sandals or other open-toe footwear
- Bible
- Non-electronic games/books for cabin time (overnights only)
What NOT to bring:
- Cell phones
- Other electronics: games, watches, e-readers, etc.
- Knives or other weapons
- Illegal substances
- Expensive items
- Sentimental items
Your congregation leader may have additional rules, expectations or items for you to bring or leave home.
A registration form for congregation leaders is available via the buttons at the top and bottom of this page.
After filling out the form, we will contact your congregation leader to prepare for individual registrations. Once your group has been confirmed, participants will register online through LOMC. All forms and payment will be collected online through LOMC. Each retreat participant will be required to provide the fee (we can accommodate scholarships or fundraisers from congregations).
Cancellations: Unless LOMC cancels the event, the fee is non-refundable.
LOGISTICS
$80 per person (middle and high school) non-refundable.
Accommodations in Meadows Cabins (bunks) that includes central heat and two bathrooms.
One adult leader needed for every 7 youth attending overnight (if volunteering to staff a cabin, adult attends free).
Price includes all activities and meals (Saturday breakfast and lunch).
Grants are available for congregations and individuals with financial need.
